Check the integrity of brick chimneys – Some chimney leaks are caused by deteriorated mortar and cracks in concrete caps.

Check caulking around siding and window

Check that bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans are properly vented (this eliminates moisture issues).
Commercial –

Check A/C units (including condensation pans and insulation around copper piping)

Check drainage is clear of debris (rod-out interior drains if needed).
